It’s great to see the South African riders taking their skills out into the wider world
DC, Electric & Dakine SA Team Rider Mawa Jekot has spent the season ripping it up on the competition circuit in and around Eastern Europe and the girl has been racking up some awesome results.
Not content with having one of the worlds sickest Headwear Companies in our stable we can now proudly announce that for the 2010 season we will be looking after sales for Transform Gloves in Southern Africa.
Transform are a fresh young brand, born out of the UK & Europe, and are living proof that we don’t have to look towards the US of A to show what’s hot in snowboarding.
With a growing stable of Team riders like Tyler Chorlton, Gulli Gudmundsson and Danny Larsen expect big things from Transform in the future.
All the details will be coming soon in the mean time take a look at some of the product, and check out the website at transformgloves.com
I demo’ed a Yes board back in November and thought it was the mutts nuts, they sold pretty heavily for a first year company in the UK (although the shred sticks are made in the Nidecker factory)
Anyways check out their team vid, from euro site fluofun, with Romain de Marchi, DCP, JP Solberg and Tadashi Fuse

Our team blogger Nick has smashed himself up a bit on the slopes in Val D’isre, it looks like he has a cracked collar bone, a dislodged rib and a few pulled muscles and tendons!
